A Message From the Headteacher

Hello Year 6 pupils, parents and primary carers. We are delighted that you have joined Holy Trinity Catholic School and we look forward to working with you over the next 5 years. Due to current circumstances, we are unclear about when we will see and meet you all for the first time. We are exploring a number of ways to connect with you in the event of us not having the opportunity to talk before the summer break. Please click on the link to access a ‘Pen Portrait’ of a number of key staff that you will meet in year 7. Please also spend a few moments to join in and explore our school through its ‘Virtual Tour’. In the coming weeks, we will be sending home an information pack, which includes important information that needs to be returned to school in the stamped addressed envelope provided. Members of staff will also be calling home to speak with you prior to the summer break. We will do our very best to make this transition process as effective as possible during this challenging time. We are open to your suggestions about other things we could do and where appropriate we can adapt and be flexible to meet personal need.

I will conclude by drawing your attention to our school motto, ‘Learn to Love, Love to Learn’. At Holy Trinity, we learn to love one another, with all persons treated equally as children of God. At Holy Trinity, we show enthusiasm, commitment and love of learning. It is through this love of learning that Holy Trinity pupils can achieve anything. Over the coming months as you prepare to join our wonderful school, spend a little bit of time researching your year 7 Patron, Saint John Paul 11. Through the inspiring example of this Saint, you will be guided and supported in the months ahead as you make this big step in joining secondary school. We cannot wait to meet you and to welcome you here in your new school.
