Miss McKiernan organised a wonderful Easter cake competition last week. Students and staff were invited to bake an Easter themed cake which also included fruits or vegetables. Mr Crehan felt the pressure as Head judge of the competition; with so many beautiful show stopping cakes to sample it truly was a difficult decision to make!
Congratulations to all students and staff who baked for the competition. Miss McKiernan said that the vast array of beautifully baked and decorated cakes made her incredibly proud to be a food teacher at Holy Trinity.
The winners were:
Faith Hussain -1st place and overall winner. Faith baked a beautiful moist carrot cake with a theme inspired by Spring and Easter.
Maariyah Hussain – 2nd place. Beautifully presented spring cake – a wonderful design
Jayden Nelson Lyons – 3rd place. featuring an Amazing Easter scene
